Goodbye to old friends at Sunbury Aikido school England.

The founder and head teacher of this Dojo, (Place of Enlightenment) is Sensei Gareth N. Jones, who for the past 30 years has studied primarily Aikido, but has also practised Setei, Iai and Jodo, plus Kyudo.

His initial introduction to Aikido was at a Dojo in Slough community centre, England, run by Sensei Ron James, (the gentle giant) and occasionally Sensei Andy Allen. Within a few months he was taken as an assistant by an up and coming instructor, Sensei Gregory Ford. Sensei Ford had a depth of perception regarding the morals and meanings of Aikido that to this day have had and still have its effect on the tuition within the Sho Shin Kan school.
